If you're lost, open the cover and you'll see the BIG overview with numbers in each of the grids. That'll get you to a sector or page #. Like I might be on 635 near the tollway, boom, I'm in so and so page. Then I can turn to that page.
From there, you'll see each page is broken down into smaller grids with letters.
Most people tell you they're at ##c, like 24C. If not, you can look it up. Just look in the index and you'll get the # and grid.
So if you know you're at 15A and want to get to 25B. Just find where you are on page 15 in grid A, and follow the roads, turning the pages to where it tells you until you get to 25B.
It's that simple!
Once you start using it, you'll never go back!

If someone gives you a Mapsco reference, it's usually a number followed by a letter. The number is the page number, and the letter corresponds to a square on that page. Look for the street in that box.
Use the index if you are just looking up a street address.
Does that help?
