The difference is ~ 3,996,000 bytes - a pretty big difference.

MB =Mega Byte, KB= Kilo Byte
1MB =1024KB so 4MB=1024*4=4096KB
MB and KB are the Unit for measuring the volume of data in Computer.Further 1024MB=1GB(Giga byte).

MB stands for MegaByte = 1 milion bytes (1.024.000 bytes exactly)
KB stands for KiloByte = 1 thousand bytes (1024 bytes exactly)
4KB = 4.096 bytes
4MB = 4.096.000 bytes = 4.096 KiloBytes
4MB is therefore much bigger memory capacity than 4KB
One MP3 song is about 4MB, one really small picture is about 4KB.

KB is smaller then MB just like metric 10 is one the next up till you get to meters etc.
