This is a difficult time for all of you try and talk to your mum explain how you feel and ask her what you can do to help
hrt is something only your mum can make the decision on whether to take it or not you and your mum can look on this web site it's has a lot of information on menopause and also other women on there going through the same thing www.menopausematters.co.uk
Your mum is lucky to have your support good luck

Menapausal mom here and my every empathy with your mom and of course you and family. Your mom may be scared of taking HRT due to all the report on what it may or may not do. There are many alternative remadies that are natural Oil Of Primrose, Zinc tablets St Johns Wart (good for depression). Eating bananans rich in vit B and very good. Try and help your mom around the house without her asking so she does not feel things are getting on top of her. Encourage her to visit the doctors as there are other treatment available to her and not just HRT. Miriniam coil is good as it releases hormone slowly in to body.
Is there any other problems in her life it may not just be the menapause.
I take alternative medicine and find it has helped me a lot. I also talk to my family when I feel down this helps. Ask her "How do you feel today mom" instead of how are you and this may give you more indication of how she is actually feeling as she will hopefully respond to how she feels.

I feel for you....I really do. Menopause can be awful for the woman but even worse for those around her. I would contact her doctor and explain the situation, perhaps the doctor or a nurse could then contact her by phone for a chat. It was what my husband did for me and I took the advice onboard and am now on hrt and happy. I wouldn't have listened to him though, it takes a professional to put it across properly. Good luck.

You should speak to another family member about this.Poor you..i think your mum knows, but refuses to accept this yet..another family member may get the message through, meanwhile i suggest you write her a letter telling her how you feel, and that you owuld like things the way they were.
take it easy,..hope you and your mum can find common ground

a box of chocolates and a bottle of Southern Comfort or Jack Daniels.
:)
I suggest going to a friend's house to get away from her when she's cranky.

You just have to be there for her, its a really tough time to go through. You thought puberty was bad? Wait for the monopause and it will seem like puberty was one long party!

Explain to her what she is doing and that she is really hurting you. Most moms respnd to that, mine did. You have to do it tactfully and try to get her when she is in cry mode. If you do it when she is yelling she may not acknowledge it. Good luck
