I'm talking about the hardcover first edition, first printings of all three. The Drawing of the Three And The Wastelands were only about $75, but Wizard and Glass was about $250.

I have looked on ebay and that is where the prices that I am getting are coming from. None of the thrift stores around town have what I am looking for.

I can tell you this: When I was getting the series, I had an awful time getting Wizard & Glass--even in paperback. Why this is, I have no clue...the only difference I can think of is that the illustrator for that one (Dave McKean) has a pretty darn huge cult following well outside of the books, so perhaps you're also competing with collectors of his work along with just the readers.

Why on earth would you pay that much, look for then locally at little antique stores, or thrift stores. That where I got mine from. The first 3 I have in paperback and were only six dollars. The hardcover only cost around 25 dollars. I think your paying too much. Look on eBay or as I said try thrift stores.

I don't know, but that's an awesome series. Disappointing ending though.
