Uh... where did he or she say she wanted someone to write the profile for him/her?

A profile is just a written account of facts and biographical information about someone and their life. Collect as many facts as you can about your subject and then write an article including those facts.

For examples of profiles, check a website like www.wikipedia.org and search for famous people. The articles people have posted are, in fact, profiles.

Good luck.

Writing a profile on someone is like writing a brief biography. You need to either do an interview or have some reputable published sources. In a profile, you want to hit on all the important things but not concentrate too much on any one thing. Forgive me if I repeat myself, but schedule and interview, ask questions about her life and accomplishments then distill that information into something interesting and factual to read.

Get cracking get pen and paper and start writing it. No don't want your ten points. Look up this word: "plagiarism."

2. Then look up the academic consequences of committing plagiarism.

3. Then forget about getting admitted to a good college or grad school or law school, and forget about getting a good job. Plagiarism on your record is a deal-killer.

4. Now, go do your own research. Use Yahoo or Google to find helpful material, and then put it in your own words.

Oooh, keep your hair on, Countessa! He/she is just asking how to write a profile, he hasn't asked us to write one for him/her! Geez! Who stuck a bat up your nightdress?

OK, cherub, to write a profile, you need to know the facts about your subject. Basically, a profile is a biographical article talking about someone's life and acheivements. You may want to start with when and where your subject was born and go on from there.

Good luck! I am sure you will do a great job!

her history - where born , her family history, married life, kids? her achievements, great moments in her life, anything that she would like to share with up and coming generations. To what does she think she owes her long life?
Think to yourself , what is is that makes her worth profiling? Was she the first woman to do......? Married to someone famous? Famous herself?
Hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck
