my cable light on my cable modem is flashing, when this has happened in the past i could not get online, but 2day its flashing (still) and i can get online??? lol wuts up with this? do i need 2 call my cable co.?

also on my task bar next 2 the time the the lil icon of the 2 computers screens is blue both of them, most of the time it goes back and forth but now their or blue and have not gone back and forth?

that's ok, that computer icon, when it's flashing back and forth, that means you're sending and receiving, that's what's supposed to be happening to be able to use the internet. and about your modem, it shouldn't be flashing, but since it's working, leave it alone, but if it stops working, then in that case, call the cable company.

Do you have limewire? if so, thats the problam, if not, your computer has been on to long and the modems ram is full, turn off your modem, and computer, then wate about 45 seconde, and turn it all back on, it shuld work then, i have this problam all the time.
