Terrorism arises
1. When strong countries abuse their power and practise double standard politics towards differing warring countries.
2. When people in sidelined countries are mostly poor, uneducated and influenced by religions manipulated by fanatics.
When the above 2 points still exist then terrorism will not disappear.

Terrorism today has one, and ONLY one cause... religion. Terrorism between the israeli's and palestinians, the sunnis and the shiites and America against the Islamists.
Eradication of religion would eradicate terrorism. Unfortunately things do not work like that. You can't win a war against ideals and perception though; terrorism is not being fought over land or power... it's all about religion.

First, the dominant terrorist man takes multiple wives, which breaks down the family unit -- 1 man and 1 woman.
The baby terrorist does not have a positive, loving relationship with their terrorist father--dad doesn't have time to spend with each of his 36 children.
Thus, the unloved terrorist child feels inadequate.
He must compensate by doing evil in the world.
Since terrorist dad had multiple wives, baby terrorist takes multiple wives as well.
It is what he knows--his culture.
It is a vicious cycle.
Who ever said that ending poverty would end terrorist is not paying attention. Osama bin Laden has BILLIONS of DOLLARS.
He isn't spending his BILLIONS to feed the hungry.
He spends his money to overcompensate for not being hugged enough as a child.
It all goes back to the breakdown of the family unit--Terrorist or suburbanite.

Yes, they did kill a lot of people but nothing close to the 30,000 plus Iraqi folks killed as a result of the invasion.
Ever wonder why when you use an army to kill all those foreigners, it's not called terrorism?

Poverty in its most ugly form! The loss of land and space to build, loss of values that are cultural inhereted, the defamation of religion that the people of that part of the world holds sacred, and mostly the standing up to world power, dominion , and they are in a war for survival of the beliefs they hold sacred. In other words , no country should impose their beliefs, and try to destroy their way of life all in the name of freedom , we must live and let live!

Ending poverty will end terrorism.
A man with a full time job would more likely decline the offer to blow himself up for Allah.
