When going to any sort of interview, I would err on the side of professional dress... I don't think it matters if you wear a skirt or pantsuit. Both are appropriate in this day & age.

As long as it's professional, it really shouldn't matter... but do not go to any interview BUSINESS CASUAL unless you don't want the job. You are there to make an impression.

Still good references are: John Malloy "Dress for Success" and "Color Me Beautiful" by Carole Jackson. These books are old but still the basic "bibles" of polishing ones business appearance. I strongly recommend purchasing both of these books and reading them carefully before beginning to buy a business wardrobe. They will save you many errors and a lot of wasted money by guiding you in the right direction from the beginning.

I have included a website where low cost used copies of each of these books and many more can be found on a daily basis.

I attached the link for "The New Womens Dress for success" without having read it first. It may depend heavily on having read the original "Dress for Success" I do not know. I included this version with the thining that it might give you more immediately helpful information quickly.

Usually it's pant suits that rated highest among women's apparel for job interviews. Doesn't matter what color your skin is or your build.... most interviewers are looking at the way you dress, style...and your shoes too!!

Good luck!

Consider whom you will be interviewed by - a woman might be more "put off" by you if you wear a skirt whereas a man might think it's attractive. You're young- so don't dress like you're 60. Lots of department stores will have new fall suits in this time of year...

Wear a conservative suit, skirt and blouse or a pantsuit (pants and jacket). Darker colors are better. Don't wear anything that shows cleavage, very short skirts, bright, loud prints, or a see- through blouse or top. Don't wear spike heels.

You want to make a good impression but also feel comfortable in the outfit you wear. Good luck.

I really don't think a skirt or pants suit would matter.
Just dress to look professional and Conservative

Just a little hint get plenty of rest and be prepared and open.

Try to find out the way people dress at this company. Business casual? Depending on the answer dress accordingly.

just wear a corporate attire. just be on your best. anyway, first impressions last. i prefer a skirt, it looks more formal, but then you could wear pants if it's not that formal. just accessories.
