I'm no coin collector, I think 1943 was the year for the special dime,and its only a very limited minting from what I understand.A 1945 dime in very good condition might today be worth 50 cents to a collector.To anyone else its just a dime.

well im thinking since they stopped making dimes out of iron in 1945, and resumed in 1947, and since in 1945 they also put10 torches on the back instead of the convestional 7. and im assuming its in fair not mint condition, its probobly worth about 10 cents
