It is really bothering me. How do you call an elevated bridge (for pedestrian crossing) that connects from one side of a street (usually a busy street) to the other side? "Pedestrian Overpass"? Or...?

Any of those bridges tend to be called overpasses. And it's not a sidewalk, where pedestrians normally walk. But pedestrians walk on these bridges. So Pedestrian Overpass should be correct, because people will know you're talking about 1. an overpass, and 2. one specifically for pedestrians.

(In fact, I didn't know what you were talking about until you said "Pedestrian Overpass," so it must be correct.)

it is simply called a 'pedestrian bridge' (at least in the southern United States). There may be cultural variations in the name for it, so you might want to look in a slang dictionary.

Pedestrian separation structure, according to wikipedia, though I'd call it a footbridge.

Foot bridge? Maybe you should stop eating ice cream. I think that is the only way to get brain freeze. LOL.
