I think that you can't listen to what the media or tabloids have to say. I'm sure they were just casually dating and then everybody had to make a HUGE deal about it. Tha's what happens with every celebrity's news. Maybe the events of their lives aren't as big as the writers and editors of magazines and Extra make them. It's just like me going on a little date with some guy for fun and the next day everybody assuming we are in love and had sex that night or something. They exaggerate everything about celebrity's lives, and it's kinda sad because they can't escape that once they become famous. So Jessica just wanted to move on after her divorce and not to prove she was over him. I don't think Mayer dumped her either. Maybe they were never really going out. You can never know the truth unless you ask a celebrity themselves. Wow.
