Only in some instances. If a person was late getting home one night and found there had been a robbery. It's probably a good thing they weren't home sooner.
If you are late for a friends wedding, and by the time you get there the reception is going on, your friend won't feel very happy with you(and especially if you were the maid of honor)

ya, i agree with you its good to be on a right path in any aspect of life, you may get success sooner or later , but its important that you choose right path better it its late . so i think its better come to a righteous decision even if its late than never think of it, or try for it.so god bless all of us , and its better late than never come to help the world to be in peace. its never too late for the people who are thinking of a change for good for them and humanity , so come forward and lend an helping hand to all. god will help us all.

It all depends on what you mean late. Out here in India, it means that the guy is dead so there doesn't seem to be much to choose from.
