Yes, and so does Oprah.

His answers may not be the popular perscription, but he appears to apply practical methodolgy for resolving problems where people are placing themselves at risk for problems.

If I was as screwed up as some of the people he brings on the show as examples, I would probably not have much choice other than to heed to his suggestions if I wanted a better more productive relationship with others and a better life.

I like Dr. Phil because he appears to live his own advice.

I think their needs to be more Dr. Phil's. He is way over rated and gets paid to much for what everyone else can do also. Or some people can do.

I take pride in what Doc. Phil says. I respect him highly and I would take his advice through any situation. He has helped so many couples and individuals through situations that it's hard not to respect nor listen to someone such as that. The man is credited for books as well, as his "talk show" (so to speak). I think he's amazing and can see and read people like nobody I know. He's a brilliant psychologist and I respect him. I think the people who speak so ingnorant of his methods possibly need the help. Why heed someone else's advice when your right all the time right?

I think he know exactly what he's talking about. He always gives it to ya straight & never sugar-coats things just so people will like him. Ever noticed he always makes so much sense? Most of what he says is just common sense & alot of people just don't have common sense!!! So he has to show it to them.
He's awsome!!!! I pay attention to him b/c he's honest & helpful & not scared to put the truth out there.
The world needs more like him!!!

i dont know if he knows what he's tlaking about or not but it's the way he conveys the message that makes me turn my the chanel....he is too impatient which makes him look irrational and he shouldnt be like that cause i watched his E!Hollywood story and he wanst a nice person...he needs to put himself in that person's shoes!

Any "doctor" who uses his/her first name after the title of Dr. is not a legitimate doctor in my book. e.g. Dr. Laura

For the most part, and he has wonderful, catchy sayings to go with his advice. If your head gets too big, crack it and see what comes out.......see, things like that?
