I just don't get it....MTV acts like it's a reality show, but it doesn't seem like it....but then why call it a reality show and have such bad acting and such stupid story lines? BTW, I've been to Orange County, and I don't think it's anything like that.....

OH, I forgot to mention (I'm pretty sure this is true, but not 100%) that it's not even shot in OC, but in Malibu....figure that one out. Very stupid

they claim it's reality but it has to be somewhat scripted because whenever someone calls their friend they've got cameras on both of them. i hate that show.

I think it's supposed to be a reality show, because at the beginning it says everything's real and it was shot in Laguna Beach, etc. Such a strange show...

Spoiled rich kids-really bad acting-probably one of them has a daddy with influence at MTV.

its real! the cast just has a lot of drama bec theyre really rich. where i live, its like the same neighborhood, and we act the same.
u cant just go to OC, and say 'oh, its not the same' Did u even go to the high school where they are? did u meeet the ppl?

producers usually edge everything along if you get what i'm saying. i mean how dramatic can life be?
