Go to the nearest DMV and get a drivers manual. Any question you have, including age limitations, are in that book. It doesn't matter how old you are, you are never too young to get one. Get the facts for yourself and ignore rumors. That way you can whip out your little book and say, "no way, dude, it says right here in this book and you are full of it."

I got my Learner's Permit at 15, and my License at 16. You can drive alone when you're 16 in FL.
