Does any one know of vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc. which help with symptons and recovery of Bell's palsy. I'm a firm believer in alternative medicine and herbs and just wondered what other sufferers have tried.

Bell's palsy or vitamin / mineral deficiency. Does not matter. Try 'MIN' a gel based vitamin you suck on from a packet as small as the ketchup you get at the fast food counters. It's wonderful. the vitamins and minerals are absorbed in your body so fast...It's great and after three days you noticed a difference in your health. Go to agel.com now!

Bells Palsy can be either a virus or a form of a stroke. The medical profession offers nothing for recovery. My husband is taking a form of phytonutrients, flavenoids and polysaccharides which go to work on all auto-immune deficiencies. His face used to really look paralyzed when he was cold, but now it has completely returned to normal. This formula removes free radicals, bacteria, inflammation, fungus and yeast from the blood making it alkaline. An acidic body is a sick body.
We have found this to be most effective.

I would guess the B vitamins, since it's a nerve thing, and they help with that. You can't go wrong with taking a good multivitamin anyway though, and the extra B vitamins just wash out every day.

www.lef.org has great vitamins - pharmaceutical grade.

talk to your doctor, but i dont think there is really any effective treatment for it, though some doctors prescribe steroids and antivirals (to my knowledge there isnt much evidence they actually speed up recovery). you just have to wait it out. i bet 90% of herbal stuff doesnt work and those companies just rip you off.

i doubt B vitamins will do anything, their mechanism is sort of irrelevant to bell's palsy
