I watched a british movie, probably made in 2000-2005, called Vanished and I was interested who played the lead character. It's about a girl who wants to find her mother and finds out that her own father killed her. I liked the dark drama and the psychological change of the lead character in the movie.

It was shown on Channel 7 in Australia as Vanished. I checked IMDB at all the things related to Vanished is not even British and made in the 2000's. I just remember the plot.

i know the film u mean and i think your right it is called The Vanished but im not sure who plays the daughter, sorry !
