Yes. Don't listen to anyone else. Only an idiot would say no. REAL football fans have been watching football before the world cup and they all know that he will be remembered in the top 5 at least. Hell, even Pele said that Zidane was DEFINITELY in the top 5 ever.

FIFA named him the best european player in the last 50 years. He will most definitely be remembered as a legend.

He already is.

In my world anyways.

I don't have a Pele jersey, I have a Zidane jersey.

Besides people 30 years ago could have just as well said Do you think Maradona will be known as a legend despite his drug addiction?

Even Pele and Maradona see ZIdane standing next to them... just wait until I find those quotes.

I don't even dare to say that you can put ronaldinho, who is in my opinion one of the best ever, next to Pele! I am no expert bt even though zidane has been made a legend, he is an amazing player, i don't think his name can be next to Pele maybe just underneath.
But i hope and have the belief that ronaldinho's will be in the future if he continues playing and improving because right now he is already the best.

I do .......I dont believe he is not gonna be among the best cause of the headbutt .......Maradona is there and he won a worldcup by scoring a goal with the hand, so i believe Zidane is the third best of all times

With his superb soccer skills and outstanding charisma & discipline, Zidane (in my opinion) will never be placed right next to Pele. He was, is and probably will always be the KING of FUTEBOL!
Pele loved the "beautiful game" and played the game beautifully as well!
PELE IS GOLD!
PELE IS LOVE!

I would catagorize him as a legend. He led France the 98' Cup and brought them to the finals in 2006. But if i would rank these three legends it would look like this:
1. Pele
2. Maradona
3. Zidane

I don't dare speculate who might be the next legend but I don't think anyone will ever eclipse Pele on this one.I met him about 25-30 years ago and he was one of the nicest people I ever met in my life.I don't follow soccer(football) like I used to so I'll leave the speculation up to those who are more up to date on the subject. All I can say is I hope not because there's no room for that kind of behavior in professional or amateur sports.Enter the UFC if you want to act like that.

i agree with Louisa. Pele is in a totally different category. Maradona wasn't perfect, but he is way better than the undisciplined zidane

I would have done the same thing to that maniac if he would have twittered something about my family!
zizou is already a pure legend that cannot be erased by that harsh thing he did to materazzi! and I'm sure that his fans know this better than me!
I walking legend is already and will be forever to me ronaldinho! but we all gotta admit that zizou is one of the best and will remain for ever!I'd like to see him now, leading france team as a coach! he'd do such a great job!
