whenever i mow the lawn, the mower never picks up the grass into the bag. if ever, it only picks like a handfull of grass into the bag. is there something wrong with the mower?

its a craftsmans push lawn mower not a rider. can u make the bag lower?...i didnt know that. ill check later

pull the bag off.....then cut..look to see if the cuttings r coming out of the shoot right....if not enough volume of cuttings...cut mower off and clean out the discharge shoot.....test again.......if working good, try lowering ur bag and check the connection to the mower.....

Yes.. your bag is not set properly.. get out your manual and check again the way the leaf catcher or grass catcher is to be attached.. It is probably set TOOOOOOOO high
