No. You are not a loser! This is saving you money renting an apartment or living in a dorm. If this arrangement is fine with you and your parents who cares what anyone else thinks? You life and your decisions are your own and no ones elses! Stop being concerned what other people think! Who are they really anyways? Don't give people you don't even know such power over your life and thoughts!

I think living at home while going to college shows a bit of shrewdness on your part. But this, in and of itself, is no real indication of weather or not you are a "loser". High moral character, dependability, self-reliance and honesty will usually project a demeanor that is readily accepted by other people resulting in a greater recognition by friends and peers. I think your success in developing these desirable social skills would be a better barometer of your particular placement in the social order.

You are not a loser. If you are a good son i.e. respectable, helpful around the house, etc. I'm sure you parents are happy to have you there. The $$ you are saving is huge too. There is plenty of time to be out there on your own but remember, mom and dad are probably excited for you to get out there on your own some day.

Not until you graduate from college. If you live 10 minutes away from it, then why pend money on a new house? You're actually quite smart for doing so. :)

Not at all! My daughter wanted to move out when she went to college, i convinced her to stay until she was done, and she did. you need the support of your family at this age when u r attending college. trust me, trying to handle bills of a place of ur own and doing college at the same time is very hard. I think you are doing just great! you have te rest of your life to live on our own!

You're only 19. As long as your parents don't mind theres no problem. Especially since you are trying to get an education.

of course not my son is 22 and i would never throw him out i know how hard is is to be on your own with all these high living expenses he just got a full time job is saving for his first car he helps me out and i feel when he's ready to go on his own he will ,but i'd worry more if he was on his own ,it's just that a mother will always except her kids and let them back home when they need to .

Hell no..if the program works, it is a lot more sane than paying for an apartment .. money that does not have to be spent. IF you were to rent your own place needlessly, that would be losing. Good luck
