No- actually, I never imagined there was a job like mine when I was little. I work with children who have behavioral and/or emotional problems. I wanted to be a veternarian when I was young, but I found out I had to go to school for a long time and I nixed that. I went to college to be a teacher and/or athletic trainer. I worked as an Outdoor Program Specialist for the Girl Scouts for many years (fun, but long hours and low pay). I'm happy with the job I have now. I feel like I'm making a difference in the lives of others.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a member of Mysteries, Inc. Now I'm a marriage counselor and I ALMOST understand the feminine gender. So yes, I am now doing what I wanted to do when I was little. ROFL.

Yes, and almost. There is a lot of crap in the educational system these days. You cant just teach anymore, you have to teach to the test so the schools dont lose their govt funding. Makes me want to be something else sometimes.

no I wanted to work in a sweet factory and eat the sweets all day long.

In the real world I work in an office and type all day and the only time we get sweets is at Christmas, which are bought by the boss to share with the whole office.

I'm not quite to the job part yet, but I have been going to college for the career that I have wanted to do since I was in 2nd grade, aerospace engineering. Sure I called it something else then, but I still wanted to make airplanes.

No, nothing like it. I wish I were because I wanted to be a writer and a librarian. At that age I had no idea that there's a degree called "library science" or that writing is actually very hard work!
