I bought a House from Rajhans in Indirapuram of 1100Sq.Ft as super area. Now they are saying that the size is increased to 1110 sq. ft and asking me to pay money for 10sq. ft. The size of my house is not increased however they are saying the super area is increased. I want to know if this is something normal with all the known builders like Mahagun, Gaur Green City, Amarpali, Shipra Sun City, Express Garden etc. or this is with RajHans Builders. Also during the possesion I do not know what all extra expenses they may put on me.
Also someone can tell me about credibility of RajHans as now I think I made a mistake going with Rajhans, ANY Help in this regards will be highly appreciated by me.

Get out a tape measure and find out... Length x Width= Sq. Footage

I seriously doubt they made the home bigger by accident... I work in the home building industry in the US and let me tell you, mistakes happen but not like that.

If you have already agreed with the Builder and put down an Earnest Deposit in the form of a Pur Contract, and they are pulling this out of their hat, or because they didn't measure correctly, you may release them, or sue them, your choice. Ask to speak with the Broker, if they are Realtor (tm) you won't pay a dime more, if they are not it might take a suit, but you will win 99% of the time. It sounds like a company that you may not want to do business with. I would contact BBB and check these guys out, you may want to use your right to pull your offer and get all your Earnest Deposit back.
