The company recently announced that the "fcuk" label is to be phased out. UK's Advertising Standards Authority banned a number of advertisements and ordered the company to submit all posters for approval before running them, resulting in less creative freedom for the marketing campaign.
In February 2006 French Connection launched the Fashion vs Style campaign that replaced the previous FCUK advertising. The first advertisement in the campaign was directed by Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie, and featured girls in the roles of Fashion and Style fighting.
It was reported in the national press that this advert received between 121 and 127 complaints in the first week of being broadcast and may become as controversial as the previous FCUK campaign.
---So basically the government fcuked with their marketing scheme and fcuked up any possibility to make a good amount of money.

Really, you can start wearing makeup whenever you want, but don't feel like you need to just because other people are doing it. If you want to experiment with it, go ahead! If not, I'm 19 and in college, and I wear makeup MAYBE once a month, and I'm doing just fine :) if you don't think you'd be good at it, there's plenty of youtube tutorials on it, and you don't need to necessarily wear it outside the first few times you put it on. There are even people who will teach you how to do your makeup at a lot of places that are dedicated to selling it. Good luck though!

It is still there it is just that fashions change so people are wearing different labels, that is the reason it is not so often seen on the Ned's Brigades running about our towns and cities.

They have reverted back to French Connection due to the negative press the chavs were giving it. This is a good thing as Burberry has just announced the closing of there south wales factory due to lack of sales, again down to the chavs ruining the brand name.
Any chavs reading please stick to your sportswear for your over sized unathletic bodies covered in Argos fake gold you will never be as good as us normal people so stop trying.

When I was in England I saw multiple stores, so they do exist. You just probably have to look up where they are located.
