I don't have acne but I get a lot of pimples from stress. Sometimes my face is clear for about a week. What to do?? I still get zits at 53.

yes it does work but maybe you should thing abut seeing a dermatologist because your 53

Proactive didnt work for me. But some ppl say they love it. I had heard on here that toothpaste works, and wow, it does. I had a bad zit for a few days that I was getting no where with, so I tried the toothpaste thing, it worked. My son is using it now, and it has made a huge difference.
I am 38 and I always wash my face morning and night, and sometimes use a moisturizer, but not often cuz itll cause zits.
All the products I use are for sensitive skin. We also use Mary Kay acne gel, its good, and also Murad has some great products for zits. Good luck, I hope you can get it under control, I know how tough it can be with your skin. Its what ppl look at unfortunately. Our FACE.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

I have a friend who used it as an adult, and it did marvels. She had been dealing with acne well into her 30s. Got ProActiv, and within 4 months, she was all cleared up, and got not more problems!

It did not work for me and I'm in my mid 30's. I found that Aveeno Complexion Care line works really well, it's less than half the price and I don't have to buy kits thru the mail. You can get it at any major drug store or discount retailer. (Target)

It works for some people. I guess it depends on how your skin reacts to it. It worked wonders for me but not for my wife.
