When you're navigating thru the web store and you decide to buy an item, it is because the attraction you feel for the item? the quality? the features or the price?
Also, please share your thoughts regarding any experience good or bad one you had buying at any web site.

I like simple web store designs. Sites with bells & whistles are nice to look at, but when you can't even find the check out button, it's just frustrating.
I do enjoy using paypal because I think it's safer than other credit card checkout systems.
I have not purchased from amazon.com, I highly prefer overstock.com for any purchases that I otherwise would buy at amazon.
I will buy items based on how much I want it and the value. Sure, quality is important, too, but I have no problem buying used cds, books, etc.
I LOVE it when business is personal. Receiving a personal email from the businessowner/merchandise person thanking you for your purchase is so much nicer than an automated email reiterating your order.

I like easy to navigate shopping methods, like easy to find buttons to click to place and remove items on and off my wish list and in and out my shopping cart. The design of the site helps when items are presented as clearly as possible. I like using my merchant store credit card to pay for things. I have purchased a book off of Amazon before but I'm not a recurrent user. They do, however, have tons of books out there and there are so many to pick from for different prices. You can buy the same book new or used in a certain condition and it changes the price so you can always find something affordable. I buy items usually because of how it appears on the screen and when I zoom in to get a larger view, price also matters and most of the time its something I was already looking for anyway. I love to shop at www.oldnavy.com. I purchase clothes and shoes from them every other month and if I don't like something, I can just return it to a local Old Navy store and have the charges put back onto my Old Navy credit card, no questions asked. I live in Jacksonville, FL, USA. I am 23.

This may not be in order,but I am assuming you want to start up an online business. I hate paypal ( too many junk mails from them). I have bought books non stop through Amazon. Amazon has great deals and offers gift certificates when you visit and buy often. Simplicity and user friendly are the most important things when visiting a web site ( for me at least), and I live in the USA (Los Angeles), and 30 something.

It depends, usually I go to buy something specific and want quality. Sometimes when looking through a store like spencers gifts I will buy something that catches my eye because they are known for funny and weird stuff.
So far, only good experience buying through web sites and havent had to return anything yet.

I visit web sites direct. Have bought books and DVDs from Amazon. I don't like to use my credit card, got one I only use on the internet. I don't care what security measures are taken, it's still b*llsh*t about security.

Easy search.
Price helps, but store must have a reputable history. (I would research if it isn't somewhere I have bought before)
Rather use paypal.
I have bought from Amazon,but only because they come up in my search when looking for an item.
