People have been attempting to answer that question for thousands of years and no one has come up with the answer yet. I'm sure some of the bible-thumpers on here will feed you a bunch of crap about living a righteous life to insure an eternity in heaven. Since there's no heaven, that can't be the meaning of life. Perhaps the true meaning of life is whatever you make of it.

There are a plethora of different meanings. I have listed only four that seem most meaningful! (you choose your favorite) :
1. The period from birth to death
2. The maximum sentence imposed on you if you kill someone
3. A popular Monty Python movie
4. What you make of it.
