I am terribly bloated. It looks like I put on 10 pounds since yesterday. I don't know if it is gas, water, or both. Does anyone know of any home remedies to relieve this?

Watermelon and asparagus are also good diuretics.

Aromatherapy can also help. Try applying three drops of essential oil of lemon twice a day to the bottom of your feet. Repeat for four days.

If you'd like to try herbal therapies, try some blessed thistle. Take two capsules three times a day.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Make a salad out of fresh parsley and mint -- lots of it. The parsley will act as a diuretic and the mint will help with the gastric discomfort. If you can find them, Dandelion greens work wonderfully as well.

Mix a little pure cranberry juice with water and drink that. It's a natural diuretic. And cut salt out of your diet.
