I was. He not only did risky things with wild animals, but he took care of them and did great work in preserving species such as crocodiles. Besides he had two little kids (the girl was eight years old, and the boy two), every child should be able to grow up with both their parents...

I was really surprised! I said to myself that what happened with the crocodile hunter was impossible! I was sad when i learned that and because he had a beautiful baby!

I was so sorry to hear the sad news. I watched the show every once in a while. He went in peace because he was doing something he loved to do at the time of his death.

I was shocked...getting killed by a stingray like that is about a 1 in 10,000 chance. The other stuff he did was much more dangerous. But at least he died doing what he loved. I was sad about it...

having seen some of the programmes he was on I always thought him to be annoying and actually joked that I wish one of the crocs would get him but wasnt serious.when I heard he had been killed I was shocked and saddened because he done a lot for the profile of animals and the world will definately miss him

Me. He was a very important person to me. He started my love for animals of all kind. I will miss him soooo much. He was a great, simple, and adventurous person. I'm very sorry for his friends and fimily's loss. Rest in Peace Steve Irwin.

I did not think it happened, i thought it was a really big joke, someone was pulling. I'm still kind of thinking that it is a joke, and hoping somewill come out and say sorry for it.

i was sad i actually had to read about in school and i saw it on the news i guess they are trying to decide if they should show that last show or not i think it said that it was up to the wife if they should air it or not

he desurved it man he was acting real stupid he sat here doughter on a crocodile see got bit and see all most died but it was sad he was like my uncle but he really was my dads freind we went to his funerl and thats what i wanted to tell it really was a petty
