Yes. I'm a man in his late twenties. One time a few years back, when all this stuff about "online predators" was starting to be publicized, I was curious to see how much was really true. So I created an online profile saying I was a thirteen year old girl, threw up a picture I randomly found online, and went into Yahoo chat rooms. The profile was completely non-sexual, by the way, hardly any info other than age and gender, totally normal picture, etc.

Anyway, I was instantly denuded with IMs. People wanting me to watch them masturbate on webcam, one 40 year old dude from NJ trying to get me to meet him - I was floored and absolutely disgusted. After about 15 minutes I just couldn't take any more. I logged out and deleted the profile, never to return.

What I learned is that if I had kids there is no way in h**l I would let them anywhere near a chat room. By the time I have kids and they get old enough to worry about, computers and the internet will probably be completely different than what we have today, but whatever the case I learned there really are a lot of sick mf's out there.
