I would love to own one someday, I'm very much an 'open road' kind of person. My dad has a couple of them, and some of my favorite times with him were when he'd take me out for a ride :)

Yes, I have owned several motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters since age 14. They are fun to ride and good on gas, but unfortunately no one respects anyone riding them. Other vehicles don't watch out much for motorcycles and push them off the road when they need to move over. Cops don't care for them much either, even when they are riding one.
If you get one, wear your helmet and clothing that will protect you as much as possible.

Yes and yes. My husband and I both have motorcycles and I love riding!!! I'd never been on one before I bought mine last spring and hubby had to teach me how to ride. After I decided I liked it, we bought another motorcycle so we could both ride. I've got a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 and hubby has a 1984 Honda Nighthawk 750.

I like the dirt better than the pavement though. There's nothing that gives you quite the same feeling as riding a motorcycle. The wind through your hair, all that power right between your legs. God I miss riding....

No a good friend of mine is still recovering from a major motorcycle accident that happened over 1 year ago. My car and truck have fenders to bend a bike even a little accident your screwed

No way! I had a good friend pass away riding his motorcycle and I just don't like them at all!

I would love to have one, in fact during the past couple of months I seriously have been thinking about purchasing one. The only problem is that I do not know a lot about them so I kind of have to do some research and find one that will be appropriate for a beginner.

I was on a motorcycle once! My cousin took me for a ride and I saw my life flash before my eyes, not to mention when we went around a curve, I thought my knees were gonna scrape pavement, sooooo, in ans. to your question.... "Heck NO"!!!!!
(4 wheels are better than 2!!lol)
