I see threats everywhere. It is really getting on my nerves. How can I be as oblivious as the skinny white guy in tiny shorts jogging past the projects in Chicago? How can I stop seeing evil everywhere?

Try getting to know people who you see as different and oblivious, everyone has problems, they might just not be the ones you see. Also, maybe you should try not being so cynical and do something to help the problems instead of just complaining that everyone is oblivous. Not all white people are as stupid as you think they are.

easy, realize that you have one life to live, and if you don't actually live it, then it was all just a waste.
When it becomes your time, there's nothing you can do about it, so just do what you want to.
