Na, don't bother. It's a bunch of hooey. That stuff doesn't do squat, at least for white people. The only real way to increase energy is to (long term)exercise or (short term) take stimulants like caffeine

That totally depends on which type of ginseng you are taking. Some people get heart palpitations from certain types.
I take a ginseng blend for energy, and the only fillers they use in the tablets are pepper and ginger, which help your system to absorb them quickly.
I supplement my diet with a fruit drink that is a blend of phytonutrients, flavenoids and polysaccharides which remove free radicals, inflammation, bacteria, yeast and fungus from the system. Having my blook alkaline really gives me energy and I sleep like a baby every night.

I agree with XMoregoneX mostly, but you will find a B Vitamin complex tablet will also increase your energy level. If someone is really run down a shot of Vitamin B is sometimes the answer for a short period.
Try exercise - it is a great energy booster. Also Transcendental Meditation will give you a blast of energy in your day.(look it up on line for simple instructions)
As a last resort, caffeine will give you a blast, but its not great for you. (Coffee, cola, chocolate, etc)

Depends on what you need ginseng for. I believe it is safer than caffein and should be used as a caffein alternative or to supplement your caffein intake. Try taking ginko biloba also to help your brain circulation.

I would think not to take more than a few viles or pills for a twelve hour period.
