Charter is what I judge people by. People who judge by any thing else are bigoted!

Consider this: Everyone you know, have ever known or will ever meet has a unique personality, composed of many different facets
and qualities- mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, etc...

Leaving aside for the moment the judgmental restrictions of any particular religious system, do YOU really want to go through your life pigeonholing everyone you meet in terms of their sexual orientation? Or, worse yet, pre-judging them entirely before you even get a chance to know them?

Ask yourself: how many times a day do you really have to interact with someone- directly- in terms of their sexual practices?

To make a long story short: Yes, it's just as OK to be friends with gay people as with anyone else- but it's YOUR mind to make up and YOUR friendship you decide to offer (or not)...

Gay people are amazing! While pretty much the same as other people, they'll tell it to you like it is, and are good friends. Not to mention, if you go shopping, they can help you pick out the best clothes.

I don't think sexual-orientation, hetero or homosexuality, is against any type of god as long as it's between two consenting adults! Even if one personally believes that it is against her or his personal interpretation of a religion, that cannot be applied to others as religious tolerance needs to be respected. One of my closest friends in high school was homosexual, and it didn't bug me. He was a Christian, and a son of a pastor, and he spent many years trying to date girls, but a person can't choose whom one falls in love with!
