I keep a book that I put sayings in as I think of them...This one I wrote on 7/29/03.

While you're waiting for your ship to come in, rescue drowning people from the harbor.

SPLATT, yes I do...As I wait for good things in my life (i.e., one of my screenplays to be picked up, or a song that I have written to be produced) I take care of my immediate family members as they are sinking from maybe a wrong choice that they have made, etc...That is how my husband and kids know how much I truly love them. They are all swimming really well now :)

How about "If more people are drowning in the ocean then you can save, then drink the ocean dry before they drown"?

The way i perceive it now it is more than fair.If you wait for something (to find your true self, to be found) might as well try to help people on their own way until that certain something for you arrives (if that is the case).

Even if you are lost on your way, if you can help others at no expence, you should.

yes, i do believe so. While you are waiting for your dreams to come true, for your true love to arrive, for a better life, you might as well do something else that may help you to achieve it faster or in better terms...

It's a fine saying. Do you know what it means? Do you practice the message?
