If there is never any face to face interaction? I am married, and I don't think so. I don't engage in cybersex, but if my husband did I would not consider it cheating, I would just prefer to be told.

Hey, Sista, hope you are well.

Bad news: Whether or not the two engaging in cybersex have a chance of face-to-face interaction is immaterial. Look through your Holy Bible. In there, it states that you are responsible for your actions and your thoughts. Even though the two engaging in cybersex have never actually touched, they have assisted one another to reach a climax in an act that is supposed to be between people who are married to one another...not with someone outside the marriage.

Yes, I'm afraid it is cheating and it is, therefore, WRONG.

Of course it is cheating. Time and emotional energy are being invested in another person while pleasant and erotic images of SOMEONE ELSE are floating through their head. If your guy was totally into you, why would he want/seek out/fantasize about a substitute? Why isn't he in bed with you, making you his own personal sl*ut and telling YOU all the things he's gonna do to you?

To say it isn't cheating displays a large ignorance of the way the human heart works. Someday you'll be outraged by this. Good luck when that day comes.

I don't really consider it cheating, but I consider it a serious danger sign that you're not getting something you need out of the relationship. Somebody engaging in that activity should ask themselves, what am I getting online I'm not getting from my partner?

Not exactly cheating, but I wouldn't want my boyfriend to be doing that with someone other than me.
