I live in sc not too far from you. Go to Tenn. Sevierville Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge great for hobby and just starting out fun. from 26 it should only take you 3 hrs at most

arkansas is a good place for gemstones and there is still gold almost eveywher in us. If u have cable tv see if u get the program gold fever. i think thats they're dot com name too
