My friend is funny and popular and if she is a lesbian then I want to be one too. Is there some kind of class that you have to go to to learn how to be one? Or is it some kind of club? Do I have to pay club membership dues? Have any of you ever heard of a lesbian club or something to that effect? If you have any information about this, can you please fill me in?

Okay, i'm going to take you at face value here.
A lesbian is when a woman is attracted to another woman just like most women are attracted to men. She might be single, or she might have a girlfriend or she might have a domestic partner (when two people of the same gender live together as a married couple but cannot get married or enjoy the same rights as two people of opposite genders because of discrimination).
There is nothing wrong with this. Although gays (men who like men) and lesbians are a minority (there are fewer people who like the same gender than people who like people of the opposite gender), they still make up about 10% of the population. In other words, if you got 10 people together, in a perfect sample, one of them would be either gay or lesbian.
It's not a club or anything like that - it's part of the human condition (when you're older you'll understand). If you've already entered puberty and you still don't know what a lesbian is, chances are you are not - I've known I was a lesbian since I was 12.

Ok, A lesbian is a girl who likes girls. you sound very young here so.. think about this for a minute. you really need to talk to your mom and dad and have them explain this too you..
there are no clubs. there are no memberships or dues.. your girl friend wants to have sex with other women rather than with boys.
this isn't normally the right thing to be wanting to be.. You want to grow up to be a normal healthy little girl..When you go to the supper table with your parents tonight ask them out right what it is to be a lesbian? good luck and after you get your answer i hope you talk to your friend and tell her she don't want to be one either.

You truly are clueless. How old are you, 9? or is English like your fourth language. A lesbian is a gay woman, and if your friend is funny and popular, and a lesbian, you shouldn't try to be to influenced by her, especially on the latter aspect.

Yes, there's a class you can go to in learning how to be a lesbian. Your friend is the teacher. Tell her you want to learn, I'm sure she'll be glad to give you " Hands On" instructions.

haha.. well little girl a lesbian is a girl who only likes other girls.. and as far as i know there arent any classes.. haha and they might have their own secret clubs. not sure about memebership dues and there are clubs/bars for them.. hope this helps ya out..

it's a girl who likes othere girls as in dateing there is nothing wrong with it but you don't have to do what she does i have gay friends and if that is what they chose then who am i to judge step up to speed this is the 21 century nothing is like it was when your parents were kids accept ppl for who they are straight or gay and you will see there no diffrent from anyone eles and they make really good friends
