Why do they feel the need to cause so much trouble?

Just leave out the first word of your question because they are just HOOLIGAN`S its got nothing to do with FOOTBALL, if it had they would be watching the game not causing trouble.

because they still havent grown up and realised that football is only a game. and yes it is nice 2 win. but winning isnt everything. also because half the time they arnt gd enough to play so they try 2 spoil the enjoyment of others of the game!!

Its a tribal thing, when they join the tribe and wear the colours they feel they must fight like a tribe would, they taunt each other with their clan songs and then comence battle.

Also it could be because they have hade their brains sucked out and replaced with nothing, they are just morons who ruin it for the rest of us.

i'll second what they top guy said. most of these guys are actually middle-class. it's the only exciting thing that happens in their life. their wife stopped having sex with him after their second child. he's been stuck in the same job for the past 10 years. he suspects his son is gay. it all comes out. oh yeah, he's drunk and very patriotic too. the mob mentality n' sh.it

its a tribal thing and if you have never been involved then you wouldnt understand, its about where you come from and defending its honour, i was involved in it for many many years, i hurt and occasionally got hurt but i enjoyed it i was fighting against people who shared the same principles, this of course never involved the normal football fan just going to the game, we at least never stooped that low and would jump on any of our own who did as that is cowardly, we fought against those who wanted to fight, it was dog eat dog and we were the best firm in europe and still are although i am no longer involved in fact nowadays i am just a fan going to watch his team...

its the english mentality,even b4 football was invented going to foreign countrys in large armys and causing mayhem

We go crazy in games, if we hate the other team with a passion, we express it, we throw bottles at the players, shout profanities at them, or what ever get's their attention(Negatively).

because they feel the neccessity to, its like bottlled up rage from their daytoday lives and feel that they can let it out at football matches
