It is still fairly warm during the days. This time of year the High to Low temps can be a huge span. The days are typically quite warm, nights can vary. I have been for Christmas and we wore shorts & t-shirts, but took a light jacket with us.

You never can tell. Been living in the area no for 18 years. Every winter is different. I guess I would bring both shorts and jeans. And at least one sweatshirt. Temp. varies from 75 and as low as 30. Just never know.

One part they forgot to add is bring also an umbrella with your jeans and shorts because weather here is mostly unpredictable you never know whats going to happen. You might get a morning freeze and at noon it can be on the mid 80s then at night down to the 50s.
Weather down in FL is as unpredictable as the people that live here.

Canada has the coldest wintry climate temperatures on the prairies (specifically in Saskatchewan and Manitoba) and the nicest climate 365 days around in British Columbia. Ontario and Quebec have a tendency to be chilly in wintry climate with a good number of snow, yet in addition muggy in summers (90F with severe humidity in August) The maritimes are cooler in summer time however the extremes in January and August are no longer as undesirable as someplace else. Now which you have a coarse theory of the climate in Canada, i'm hoping you have a stable time in Australia! O,o
