Personally, I think too much analysing spoils the fun of the song.Especially in the songs ceditted to Lennon-McCartney,
I don't like to split up like "John wrote these lines in this Paul song, etc etc".It spoils the feeling of togetherness and friendship that one usually gets while listening to the Beatles.

I don't analyze their lyrics, but a couple of years ago I read the book Helter Skelter on the Manson Family. It was pretty interesting how Manson interpreted their lyrics especially on the White Album. I am not saying I believe the craziness, but it was interesting. The book is a great read and I enjoy the music of the Beatles.
