We had reservations at a restaurant, so when we arrived they had a table waiting and we were seated. I believe my then girlfriend had a idea something was up, she just had that look on her face. There was an expensive bottle of Champagne brought to the table and then I got on one knee and proposed to her with the engagement ring in my hand. The look of surprise and shock was to die for. She said YES! and made me the happiest man on earth.

A weekend in the mountain. Slip the ring on her finger in th middle of the night. Wake her up very romanticly. Whether coffee in bed, a complete breakfast or mornng lovin'.

My husband and I had met July 4th...I dated his best friend for about 2 weeks, then we broke up...so I went to my now husbands place and asked him if he wanted to go out sometime...so we started dating...a couple of weeks later he broke up with me by leaving a note on the door of my apartment. A Week or so later he called me at work wanting to know if I wanted to go out again...I agreed...that night when he took me out to Golden Coral (Yeah, a big spender..lol) he asked me to marry him...I told him I would have to think about it...later that night when we were out at a club dancing...I told him "yes". So September 3rd we got married..
Oh, he had no ring to give me...I went and picked out our wedding rings a few days later.
We have been together for 12 years...we are currently separated, but I think we can work things out...
