johny depp was taking drugs around the time he had his first movie which was..A nightmare on Elm Street (the first 1).and he also had a T.V. show called 21 Jump Street. However, go to the site www.rotten.com and check it out ...you can find alot of stuff on there about anyone dead or alive..but be advised it does get pretty graphic. He did drugs for quite awhile - before getting into acting. He did have a problem with drugs while shooting 21 Jump Street. He finally quit altogether around 1997.
