IF your cycle are regular...and then you missed a period being active sexually....ALWAYS CONSIDER POSSIBILITY of pregnancy.
It's Possible to get pregnant "EVEN AFTER TUBECTOMY" due to one of following reason
1) WRONG SURGICAL TECHNIQUE
2) Method of tubal ligation used (THERE r 8 methods...failure rate differs for each method)
3) NATURE IS GREAT...can cause "SPONTANEOUS RECANALISATION" even years after tubectomy
HIGH chances of TUBAL ECTOPIC PREGNANCY if pregnancy after tubectomy....sperm escapes throu tube and causes fertilisation of ovum...but FERTILISED ovum can get ENTRAPED beyond site of tubal ligation
one Ultrasound examination needed to clear out the things

Chances are slim but it has happened. It could be that you are stressed out. Take a test or go and see your doctor they can tell you for sure. I had a tubaligation almost 20 years ago and the only time I missed or started to miss a period is because I have started menopause. But I freaked the first time it happened. Just go see your doctor. All will be fine.

I would make an appointment with the doctor right away. A number of things could be going on here. You may have a tubal pregnancy. You might also be entering early stages of menopause. You may just be having a strange period. Let your Ob-Gyn tell you what's happening. A tubal pregnancy could be very serious!

there are very infrequent cases of the two ends of the tubes reconnecting after it has been tied and cut; but almost always this results in ectopic pregnancies
always do a pregnancy test; if it's positive, see an OBgyn quick for a scan

You need to get in for a blood test tomorrow. A home test...if you are having a tubal pregnancy (16-50% of pregnancies are tubal after having tubes tied) take longer to show up because it takes longer for the HCG levels to rise.

Your period could be just messing up. Mine does that alot. But if you've only had your tubes cut and tied, thedoctors might have screwed up and you might have gotten pregnant. How long has it been since you got the surgery?
