I watched all of these 9/11 videos and i remember the day perfectly but ive never cried about it...Ive went to the holocaust mueseum in Israel and still i never cried im only 12 but i understand all these tragities and i dont know why its not affecting me....

No it doesn't mean you are a horrible person. It just means these things have affected you differently. At least at 12 you are mature enough to think about these things.
It will effect when it becomes personal like if one of your family members or friends become victim to some tragedey.

You didnt live through the holocaust.. and only those who did could ever truely know how it felt to be there.. you may have been alive during 9-11 but again.. it didnt effect you unless you or part of your family were there, but you should feel sympathy for those who are affected

No - some people don't react to tragedy by crying - I know people who will 'shut down' if exposed to too much tragedy, rather than cry.
Furthermore, if you're only 12 - you may not have been old enough at the time 9/11 happened to really connect with it.

I'm the same age and I've never cried either. I understand all the problems in the world, I watch the news, and everyone says that I'm real smart for my age, but it's like I feel sorry, but I have no real sympathy for these things.

well i cried and so did billions of people but im sure theres nothing wrong with you if you didnt cry aslong as you understand how terible it was and feel bad for those people.
maybe your just like the sort of people that have jobs that mean that they need to be emotionally strong like when a doctor's patient dies or something.
dont worry about it i mean obviously you do understand that it was really sad cause your concerned but aslong as you feel sad inside it doesnt matter. different people express themselves in different ways.

I think that you "kids" see too much violence... so nothing really scares you, now. And this is sad... But I'm sure that if you think deeply to those tragedies, and to the people involved, you must be affected. If not, you're going to join the mass of the insensitive people that doesn't care about other people...

don't feel bad, i never cried either. I remember that morning too. I'm a former Marine so it did effect me. and i still didn't cry, thats just how i deal with things, i feel bad, but its not like tears prove that you really care.
