i've called my dds and they sd they are sending my ex a letter. they tell me that me ex has to stop it???

you have back payments you didnt make.

My friend is going threw that with her son we figured he missed so many payments her son will be still getting checks well into his late 20's!

If you never misses a payment the Mom will have to pay it back.

I don't think that it is up to the ex. Go and google child support for your state and you should be able to find out what you need to know. You know, if left up to an ex, they will milk you until your daughter is 40.

Most cases, child support can continue after the child turns 18 if they continue to go to school. After that, the support ends when the child turns 20 (that is for the non-custodial parents benefit so that the child doesn't become a career student)
