Can depend. If you mean (1/2)(2) plus 2, then 1/2 x 2 is 1 + 2 = 3.

If you mean 1/2(2+2), 2+2 is 4, then becomes 2.

It can be both " 3 " or " 2" , depending how you read and extract the answer.
ie. 2 + 2 = 4 and 1/2 of 4 is 2
Or:
1/2 of 2 is 1, then plus 2 = 3
Thus 2 answers are correct.
