Renaultfan... that is a massively naive response to make, but not unexpected...

Schumi will be missed - what he brought to F1 was undeniable. The relationship he had with Ferrari is unlike any relationship you've ever seen or will ever see again!! I loved watching him race and I'll miss not seeing him in 2007.

he's not getting any younger and i agree its about time to hang his helmet. as a huge michael schumacher fan i just hope he ends his illustrious career as an 8 time world champion. he now has a real fighting chance for the driver's title with just 2 points behind and the momentum on the ferrari side i think he will end his career as a world champion yet again.

I've been a Schumacher fan since before he won his first title. Sad to see him go but it would be great to see him go out on top

It's about time...
And I hope he'll be beaten this year. I don't want him to retire on a high note he doesn't deserve.

This championship belonged to Fernando Alonso and Renault until Ferrari made the FIA stick their dirty nose into Renault's business, banning every ounce of advantage they had over Ferrari.

Are you looking for the word "retire"? "Retreat" is misused.
