I haven't seen a really good scary film in ages, what do you recommend?

There really arent any. scary films suck these days. Silent Hill was decent, but not all that scary. check out the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Whats old is new again!

Try Seven. It's easily the scariest movie I've ever seen. You can also try The Game, it's by the same director and it's somewhat scary although more humorous than Seven.

I think that thrillers are more scary than horrors, because you are on the edge of your seat wondering. My boyfriend liked saw but I hated it. I thought that the skeleton key was quite scary/jumpy, also Hide and seek

there are no good scary movies these days, i love scary movies but todays movies just don't scare me at all i usually find them funny instead which is the wrong way to go....they are just so pathetic

I haven't either, seems as though they just don't make them anymore. But I watch the old ones from time to time. The Exorcist, Phantism etc.
