Yahoo will never send you an executable file in order to correct any problem with the service. They will correct any problems themselves. You received a virus, and if you open the file it will eat your computer like a hound dog on a bowl of Kibble. Delete the entire post, then empty your trash folder.

Never click ANY attachment or file with a .exe extension in any e mail. An .exe extension is a program that will run on your computer...most likey a virus. Simply delete that e mail.
Yahoo e mail is simply a web-based. Any problems would be fixed on there servers, not your computer.

Dont download the file. Just forward the email to spoof@yahoo.com and wait for an answer from them. Most of the reputed sites are looking into it seriously and they do reply to spoof.

DO NOT DO IT!!
ITS A TROJAN, A VIRUS OR WORSE A HIJACK PROGRAM!!
yahoo does not send people emails with links in them nor does any reputable company
What not perfect is talking about is a site key and is totally server side so no download is needed.

It is legitament and i have it, its to protect you from some Other! site stealing your yahoo id and password and its pretty simple too. just pick either a phrase or picture familiar to you and save it. then everytime you want to long onto yahoo the pic or phrase will be their confirming that it the actual yahoo site.
