Its always gud and safer too. It true no body can understand each others real identity in the screen but if they are amiling each other quite some time one can easily understand the level of other party and slowly can reveal the truth as and when require.

Its okay I used to have a penpal in the UK and Lithuania. After a while you get bored of it, theres only so much you can write about without knowing someone... I never met them in real life. I would say its good to a degree, I mean as long as if you meet them, in its a public place. You have to be careful of sexual predators and weirdos but personally, I have never had this happen. I think the news just trys to scare us. Anyway go for it, it can be a good way to experience other cultures and make new friends for the time being.

It's definitely good to make friends by mail coz you don't see a person but come to know of him/her by his/her correspondence. And when the confidence increases, it is a Big surprise meeting that person. You also have a choice to accept or reject friendhip without hurting.

There is nothing wrong with it as long as you don't give out personal info.Don't go and try to meet the person.I have a Penpal myself.
